Cloth Distribution
“We rise by lifting others” - Robert Ingersoll
Young consumers are stylish shoppers who have a strong tendency to follow the latest fashion. With the rapid changes in fashion trends, the overconsumption of clothing has had a significant environmental impact on society. Hence, there is a need to understand how young fashionable consumers are disposing of their unwanted clothes. The main motive behind this drive is to spread philanthropic awareness in society. On the auspicious occasion of Vasant Panchami, we conducted a cloth donation drive at Laxmi Nagar khadar slum. Three NGOs named Save child beggar, Diversified Intervention for Youth Awareness (DIYA), Integrated Volunteers Network (IVN) with Global Youth Peace Committee (GYPC) partnered for this novel cause. We distributed more than 200+ pairs of clothes and stationary among the children. Making someone's soul happy is our sacred human responsibility.
