The Executive Council of the Global Youth Peace Committee  serves as the organisation’s key coordinating and implementation body, supporting the Governing Body in translating GYPC’s vision, mission, and strategic priorities into effective programmes and initiatives. The Executive Council is responsible for programme coordination, institutional development, youth engagement, partnerships, communications, and operational planning. It works collectively to develop and implement initiatives focused on peacebuilding, youth leadership, social inclusion, sustainable development, community empowerment, and responsible citizenship.

The Council facilitates coordination among GYPC’s programmes, teams, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders, while supporting effective planning, monitoring, documentation, and follow-up of organisational activities. Through collaborative leadership and participatory decision-making, the Executive Council strengthens GYPC’s institutional capacity and promotes meaningful youth participation in building peaceful, inclusive, sustainable, and resilient communities. The Executive Council works under the overall guidance of the Governing Body and contributes to the effective implementation of GYPC’s organisational objectives and long-term vision.
