GYPC began with a simple belief — youth should not merely be prepared for the future; they should be empowered to shape it.

Every meaningful movement begins with a question.
“What can young people do today to build a more peaceful, inclusive and sustainable tomorrow?”
GYPC emerged from a belief that youth are not simply beneficiaries of development — they are important partners in creating it.
Our Founding | 15 March 2019
The Global Youth Peace Committee was founded on 15 March 2019 by three visionaries who came together to turn a shared belief into a lasting movement.
