The Governing Body of the Global Youth Peace Committee (GYPC) provides strategic leadership, institutional oversight, and overall direction to the organisation. It is responsible for guiding GYPC’s vision, mission, programmes, partnerships, and long-term institutional development in accordance with its governing framework and organisational objectives.

The Governing Body works to strengthen GYPC’s commitment to peace, youth leadership, social inclusion, sustainable development, justice, responsible citizenship, and community empowerment. It ensures that the organisation’s initiatives remain aligned with its core values, statutory framework, and the principles of transparency, accountability, participation, and good governance.

The Governing Body also facilitates collaboration with government institutions, civil society organisations, educational institutions, youth networks, development partners, and other stakeholders to create meaningful opportunities for young people and communities.
